In Loving Memory of
Reverend Monsignor Arthur
J Kane
born February 7th 1910
Ordained June 6th, 1936
went to his reward June 2nd
1999
laid to rest June 6th,
1999
Guided by the strength of God's
own hand
Father Arthur Kane took a piece
of land
and he Erected a Church, Saint
Elizabeth
as if led by words of God's
own breath
He raised the walls and the roof
above
and filled it's halls with a
special love
St. E's came alive and reached
out to all
echoing the beauty of
a Heavenly call
He talked of God to both adult
and child
with energy, and charisma, yet
staying mild
His rye sense of humor made
you snicker and laugh
for you knew the joke
was on your behalf
He visited the sick even when
his health fell
thinking only of others who
were not feeling well
He will be truly missed by both
young and old
for his happy spirit and his
heart of gold
So, dear God, now that Arthur
is at his reward
we know you wont ever be feeling
very bored
For if we know Artie, now that
he's with you
there are many things up
there he has planned to do
